Search any lead database for VP of Sales, Head of Sales or Chief Sales Officer in the US and you get a wall. In ours it's 135,863 people. Nobody writes good emails to 135,863 people, so most teams take the first few thousand by company size and hope for the best.

We tried another filter. Who started the job recently.

3,896 of them took their current role in the last 90 days.

That's the list I would work first. A sales leader in month two is rebuilding the team and the stack, has a budget nobody has spent yet and wants a quick win. The leader in year four already picked the vendors and is defending that choice.

We pulled 50 of the 3,896 to see what you actually get. 48 came with a work email and 25 with a phone. Every row also says why it matched (for example "in the current role for 1 month"), so the first line of the email can be about them.

The last row is the other filter we like. A sales team that is growing usually needs new tools for the new people, and the person who signs for them is in that row.

"Started in the last 90 days" is the start date of the current position in the profile. Profiles refresh monthly and lag by one to two months, so some of these people are already in month four.
